To complete standard individual onboarding, Keyrails requires the following information:

Personal Information

  • First and Last Name
  • Country
  • Street Address
  • City
  • Postal Code
  • Province/State
  • Date of Birth
  • Email

Identity Verification

  • National Identity Number (Required for non-U.S. residents)
  • Social Security Number (SSN) (Required only for U.S. residents)
  • ID Verification (Optional for U.S. residents with minimal payment activity)
  • Proof of Address

Enhanced Due Diligence for High-Risk Profiles

For high-risk populations (e.g., residents of high-risk regions or individuals aged 60+) and high-volume transactors, Keyrails collects additional details related to the customer's financial background and expected account usage:

  • Occupation
  • Employment Status
  • Source of Funds
  • Primary Purpose of the Account
  • Expected Monthly Transaction Amounts (sent or received)
  • Intermediary Status: "Are you receiving or sending funds on behalf of someone other than yourself?"

Additional Information Requests

In rare cases, Keyrails may require further documentation or details during the onboarding process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
